Fitcheck AI rates your outfit from a photo. Take or upload a picture, pick the occasion you are dressing for, and get a score from 0 to 10 with written feedback, a color palette, and up to five styling tips.
How it works
- Take a photo with the in-app camera, which has a self-timer and a flip button, or upload one from your library or gallery. Get the whole outfit into the frame with decent light, because the AI can only judge what it sees.
- Pick the occasion. There are 19, including Everyday, Work, Date, Wedding, Interview, Travel and Gym. Party has themes, and Other takes your own text.
- Get your rating. You need an internet connection. Each rating is saved to your account so you can look back at it.
What's in a rating
- Score: a number from 0 to 10 with one decimal. It blends how well the pieces work together (50%), how well the outfit fits the occasion (30%), and creativity (20%).
- Feedback: whether to wear it, with a verdict of Go for it, Maybe, or Rather not, one point for and one against. Up to five things that work and up to four that are off.
- Colors: the main colors of the outfit as a palette, with a short text on how they combine and how they suit you.
- Tips: up to five concrete, numbered suggestions for the outfit you photographed, on their own screen.
Track your style
- History: every rating on the Home tab, with a filter and a calendar view. Delete a rating at any time; the day still counts toward your streak.
- Progress: overall and average scores, a chart over 30 days, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year or all time, and the colors you wear most.
- My Styles: each outfit is sorted into one of 14 categories, such as Casual, Business, Streetwear, Minimalist or Vintage, with the palette, the outfits and the average score per style.
- Streaks: a daily streak of consecutive days with at least one rating. Rating on two days in a row earns a Streak Freeze, you can hold up to two, and one is used automatically on a day you skip. Without a freeze, the streak resets.
Make it yours
- Four feedback tones: Slightly funny, Standard, Harsh, Nice. A change applies from your next rating; old ratings keep their feedback.
- Various light and dark themes, and an adjustable card size.
- Optional push notification reminders for your streak.
- Share a rating as an image card, for example to Instagram Stories, or save it to your library or gallery. The app never reads what is already in there.
- Five languages: English, German, Portuguese, French and Spanish.
About the AI
The rating, feedback, and tips are opinions produced by an LLM, not objective measurements. They can be inconsistent and they can be wrong. Treat them as one point of view on your outfit. The app does not use facial recognition and does not judge your face or your body.
Photos and privacy
Photos you submit are stored on our Supabase servers in Switzerland and sent to OpenAI through its API only to produce your rating. They are not used to train models. Uploads go through the system photo picker, so the app only ever receives the photo you choose. If a rating fails, no result is saved. Delete a single rating or your whole account in the app at any time, and the photos are removed from storage within about a day.
Pricing
Fitcheck AI is free to download. New accounts may get one free rating to try it. Beyond that, rating outfits requires Pro (also referred to as "unlimited"), an auto-renewing subscription billed through the App Store or Google Play, depending on where you installed the app. Prices, billing periods, and any free trial are shown in the app before you buy, and you can cancel at any time in that store's account settings. If Pro ends, your past ratings stay viewable.
Photos and privacy
A photo you submit is uploaded to our secure storage, hosted in Switzerland, and analyzed by OpenAI through its API. It is used only to produce your rating and is not used to train models. Photos stay in your account until you delete the rating or the account. The app does not use facial recognition. The full picture is in the Privacy Policy.
